Who is Aaron De La Cruz and when did you start "doing" artist?
I am a visual artist based out of San Francisco California. I have been drawing since a child but creating art as a way of making a living for the past five years.
your artworks are minimalist, a black brushstroke, how early and what they mean?
I have been using this minimal approach with my work a little over then years now. I enjoy the black ink because it reminds me of the first time I started writing my name on things.
where the people can be found your artworks arround the word? not only in the gallery?
I have walls (indoor and outdoor) in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Lima, New York, Cancun, Honolulu, Miami, Berlin.
whith is you relationship with the fashion world?
I have alsways had a facination with the fashion world. When I was 12 years old I tried to start my first clothing brand but it was just for fun. I realize now that art on clothing was a huge influence on many aritst from my generation and background (graffiti and skating). Nowdays I find it interesting to collaborate with labels and do projects of my own with gaments.
